I’ve collaborated with some of my favourite wedding people to bring you the perfect intimate sustainable wedding. Pricing starts at $3,990 for our introductory package for up to 10 people.
Every Eco Wed celebration includes:
Plus bubbles, non alcoholic drinks, confetti, glasses, and cake plates if you need them!
EcoWed will set up the space for you, create a warm and special vibe and be ready to welcome you and your loved ones.
All you need to do is pick your venue, and if you wish, add some of our optional extras.

Meet Kerry
Kia ora, I’m Kerry. I am based in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland and the founder/celebrant/host/planner of Eco Wed.
Thank you for considering an eco friendly wedding. It’s an honour to help you create your beautiful, intimate and stress free wedding with the planet in mind.
As your celebrant and host, I bring over nine years experience with weddings, as well as a huge passion for love and the environment (you can find me on instagram with my sustainability page Keep NZ Clean) so Eco Wed is the perfect combination of my passions.
I am outgoing, friendly, warm and caring, offering you the compassion and love to create a ceremony just right for you. But it’s so much more than just your ceremony, because the atmosphere and vibe at your wedding is important too. Fun on your wedding day is absolutely essential - so we will be sure to include lots of laughter.I look forward to working together to ensure your Eco Wedding is right for you as a couple.

Included in your Eco Wed package is one of our stunning Auckland venue partners! Take a look and pick the one you like the most.
Your package allows two hours of exclusive access for your Eco Wed celebration, allowing for a personalised intimate wedding ceremony, wonderful ceremony photos, an after ceremony photo shoot, and time for bubbly and socialising, plus some beautiful locally sourced confetti - and Eco Wed will organise it all for you!
Our Auckland venues mean less travel for you and your guests, fewer car emissions, and more support for local businesses. Eco Wed weddings are held Monday to Thursday and off peak, reducing your costs even more.

HISTORICAL HOMESTEAD
Highwic, Newmarket
Highwic is a heritage NZ Pouhere Taonga with a spectacular historic setting for your wedding day. It is recognised as one of New Zealand’s finest examples of Carpenter Gothic architecture.
For your ceremony, choose between the elegant 1880s ballroom with kauri panelling, the more informal billiard house, or the stunning heritage gardens! This venue can cater to more guests so please just ask for pricing.
There is a +$200 surcharge for weddings at this venue.
Ridgeview Forest
Waitakere retreat
This little piece of paradise lies in the heart of the Waitākere ranges, surrounded by native bush.
Get married at the tiny house, the studio, or amongst nature, surrounded by birdsong from the resident kereru, tui and piwakawaka.
Set in an old quarry, now taken over by nature, this is a truly unique setting to get married.
There is the added option of staying in the luxury tiny house (for an additional fee), and to enjoy all that this property has to offer. Min two night stay applies.
country garden
Coatesville/Riverhead
This chic country cottage is an absolutely gorgeous self-contained space with a barn-like feel! To top it off, you can stay the night here for an additional fee.
It sits in a beautiful garden, with many lovely ceremony spots available, and is surrounded by mature trees, manicured lawns and secret hidden photo spots.
If you love a tree lined driveway with the feeling of being miles from the city, then you will love this! Tucked away form the hustle & bustle and yet only 30 minutes from Auckland CBD!
Highwic - LARGER WEDDINGS
Historical homestead Newmarket
I am excited to be offering larger weddings at Highwic. This package is for up to 25 guests for three hours (Mon - Fri).
Starting at $7850 -including your celebrant, host, wedding planner, photographer, drinks and more *nibbles optional
Imagine your celebration in the heart of Newmarket and yet surrounded by nature at this beautiful historical homestead.
There are many incredible spots for your photos, such as the lawn, the billiard house or the grand ballroom.

Hi, I’m Lara
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, I believe the vibrant culture of my motherland has fostered my yearning for colour and connection in all I do. I am inspired and intrigued by diversity, ethnic food, upbeat music, art and design and people’s unique stories! I am now a proud Kiwi and feel truly blessed to be able to call Aotearoa my home!
With a candid, documentary style, I approach each new couple or family with an open mind and fresh eyes. I aim to tell their story in an honest and authentic way that reflects their personalities.
To me, a marriage is about connection, commitment and celebration, all of which can be honoured in an intimate, environmentally friendly way. I am privileged to be part of Eco Wed and spread the concept of more LOVE, less STUFF!

Your eco wed photography
Lara will be with you for ceremony photos and an after ceremony photo shoot. She’ll then provide you with a code to access digital files of all of your 200＋ photos online. If Lara isn’t available we have several wonderful photographers including Sarah Weber and Jo Currie.
