As a celebrant based in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland, I absolutely love my role and “I Do” make it my goal to create a fun, warm and loving ceremony that reflects exactly who you are as a couple. My role is so much more than just your ceremony, because I am there to guide you, to stand beside you, welcome your loved ones and assist in any way I can to make the day special.

It can be a little overwhelming at times to plan a wedding, so I can offer ideas and inspiration that are specific to you.

Hello - I’m Kerry and very proud to be the founder/Celebrant and host of EcoWed.

I live with my whanau in Wai O Taiki Bay, in Tamaki Makaurau/Auckland. Dave and I have been happily married since 1999 so I do truly believe in love and marriage.  We are both born and bred in Lower Hutt, but now we call Auckland home. Our 2 children were born in Wellington - however as a family, we came to Auckland in 2012.

When asked to marry a close friend back in 2014, I thought “Why not”…. Little did I know it would become the most incredible career choice and one that makes me feel “like I’m home”. The role of Celebrant is perfect role for me because: I love public speaking, I love “Aroha/Love” and it’s something I’m passionate about.  

I’m also a huge fan of gardening, travel, photography, wine, nature and anything eco friendly and sustainable - so PLEASE ask if you would like any wedding tips to reduce waste and help save the planet! 

So to sum it all up - I’m a family person, mum, daughter, sister, wife, human, environmentalist, romantic, sometimes a activist and a bit of a dreamer too!  

As your celebrant, I want us to have FUN! Planning a wedding should be enjoyable and let’s be honest ..... no-one wants a boring wedding! So it’s important that we get to know each other, so that I can tell your story and share what makes you tick as a couple! And - so that you can feel comfortable with me, because I will be standing there with you on one of the most important days of your life.

So if you’re after a fun, vibrant, and energetic celebrant, one who takes the time to get to know you, one who will go out of their way to ensure your wedding day is outstanding, then please give me a call or send me a message.
